Edna M. Towns, 93, of Leesburg, Fla, formerly of Woodland, died Feb. 26 in
Leesburg Health Care Center.  Born Aug. 13, 1896, in Hoytville, Mich., she was
the daughter of George and Elizabeth Jackson Pickner.  She attended Sunfield
schools and was married to John Lloyd Towns April 10. 1912, in Sunfield.  He
died Sept. 30, 1974.  She made her home in the Lake Odessa-Woodland area most of
her life and was a member of Kilpatrick United Brethren Church.

Surviving are a son, Lloyd Paul Towns, of Leesburg, Fla.; six grandchildren; 10
great grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.  A son, Arnold, and a
daughter, Marilyn, preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. from Koops Funeral Chapel, Lake
Odessa, with the Rev. George Speas officiating.  Burial will be in Woodland
Memorial Park.  A memorial has been established for the Kilpatrick U.B. Church
Building Fund, in care of the funeral home.  The family will be at the funeral
home Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
