Lyons Herald, 12 Mar 1908

Mrs. Eliza Townsend, whose home has been in this vicinity for 60 years, died at 
the home of a daughter in Belding, March 4th.  The funeral was held from the 
Orange Church Friday.  Deceased was the mother of Emery and Edward Townsend of 
Ionia township.

[Transcriber's Note: There is a notation on the card that her daughter was Mrs. 
Louis Holmes.]
