Funeral services for Fay E. Townsend, 37, who died at his home in Lyons township
Friday evening were held Monday afternoon from the residence at 2:30 o’clock. 
Rev. L.M. Whittemore pastor of the Lyons Methodist church officiated.  Interment
was at the family lot in Lyons cemetery.  Pallbearers were Stephen Kimball, Ivan
Smith, Clare Wilcox, Leo Smith, Eric Gee and Delbert Ritenburg.

Surviving besides his wife, Marie, are three children, Alvin Fay, Robert L. and
Beatrice Marie; two brothers, Ernest and Howard, of Ionia; two sisters, Mrs. E.
Bissell, of Pewamo and Mrs. Margaret Walters of Benton Harbor.
