The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Saturday, April 2, 1955


Mrs. Emery Townsend, 83, formerly of Ionia, died at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the 
Clark Memorial Home in Grand Rapids where she has been for the past three 
years.  Mrs. Townsend has been ill since Tuesday.

Surviving are a daughter Mrs. Clifford Harwood and one granddaughter.

Funeral services are to be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Clark Memorial Home 
chapel.  Burial will be at the Ionia Highland Park cemetery where graveside 
services are to be conducted.
