Sentinel-Std. - Monday, Nov. 3, 1941

Funeral services for Emory Townsend, Ionia township farmer who died 
Wednesday at his home, were held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. from the residence in 
Ionia township where Mr. Townsend had spent much of his life. Rev. Frederick 
G. Dunbar officiated and interment was at Highland Park cemetery.

Bearers were M. Clyde Stout, Theodore Moehlman, Charles King, A.C. Hayes, 
A.V. Wright and Roy Weber.

Relatives and close friends were present from Indiana, Grand Rapids, Lake 
Odessa Portland and the vicinity of Ionia.
