THE SEBEWA RECOLLECTOR, Bulletin of the Sebewa Center Association, Volume 31, February 1996, Number 4:
TOWNSEND, BERTHA J. (POSSEHN)(MOL), 99, widow of Ernest Mol and Lynn 
Townsend.  She was born August 16, 1896, on NE ¼ Sec. 9 Odessa Township, Ionia 
County, 12th of 14 children of Amelia (Stencel) and August Possehn, and the 
last survivor.  She attended Limerick School, Coon School, and St. John’s 
Lutheran School in Ionia.
