Ionia Daily Standard, 21 Jul 1900

Francis E. Tracey was found dead in bed about 6 o’clock this morning, by his 
wife.  He had been sick about three months.  Recently he was taken to the home of 
his father-in-law, Egbert Lyon, for better care, and has failed steadily until 
the end.  Funeral at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, at the residence.  For some reason, not 
generally apparent, a coroner’s inquest was directed in the case, and was held by 
Coroner Cook this afternoon.
