ROSS TRAN DIED FRIDAY

Ross Tran, 63, prominent Sebewa township farmer, passed away November 28 at his 
home, route 1 Sunfield after a long illness.

A lifelong resident of Sebewa township, he was a World War I veteran, a member 
of the Dale Hyland American Legion Post at Portland and the Sebewa Center 
Methodist church.

Surviving are his wife Gladys; a son, Dale of Los Angeles, California, and two 
sisters, Mrs. Alice Knight of Owosso and Mrs. Florence Hair of Portland.

Funeral services were held December 1st at the Mapes funeral home Sunfield with 
burial in the Eat Sebewa cemetery. Rev. Victor Jones officiated. The services 
were under the auspices of the Legion Post.
