The funeral occurred this afternoon at the German Evangelical church, at 2:30, Rev. W. Koehler conducting the Services. The remains were borne to Highland Park Cemetery for interment. Charles was a boy of lovable character, the beloved and only son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Trautwein, to whom the sympathy of a large number of friends goes out in their great affliction. Subsequent Publication: Thursday, January 5, 1899 Albert Trautwein, who recently passed through a severe illness resulting from an accident, and who has just buried his only son, wishes to thank the German Laborers’ Aid society for the prompt payment of his sick fudemnity claim, and for the thoughtfulness of the president, John Blasen, during the trying hours.
