The funeral was held at the U. B. church in Woodbury on Wednesday forenoon, conducted by Rev. Welton, and his remains laid at rest in Lakeside cemetery. Mr. Travis was a young man of but 26 years, and was considered an honest, hard working young man, as an evidence of this fact, he has been working for the past four years for Hirian Sweitzer, one of Woodland’s best farmers. He leaves a wife and two little children, but had made some provision for an occurrence just like this, by having a thousand dollar life insurance policy with the Woodmen.
