Ionia Sentinel Standard, 5 Oct 1964

Mrs. Etta Travis, 83, of route four Ionia, widow of Grover Travis, died 
Saturday at a Belding nursing home.  She was born June 16, 1881.

Survivors include four sons, Kenneth of Sunfield, Arley, Cecil and Berdyne of 
Ionia; one sister, Mrs. Emma Payne of Charlotte, and several grandchildren.

Funeral service will be Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at Morris funeral home with the 
Rev. Ray Fassett of Zion Evangelical United Brethren church officiating.  
Burial will be at Saranac cemetery.
