MUIR - Mrs. Vera V. Trayer, 85, of 240 East Main Street, Ionia, died at her 
residence early Saturday.

She was born Feb. 14, 1903 in Shiawassee County, the daughter of Claude and 
Corabelle Hoag Bentley.  She attended Laingsburg schools and for many years 
operated a rooming house in Lansing. She moved to Palo in 1959 and to Ionia in 
1979, where she worked in foster care homes.

Surviving are a son and a daughter; 16 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 
a brother Kenneth Bentley of Perry and a sister Ruby Parcher of Palo.

She was a member of the Assembly of God church in Ionia.
