Trebian, 87, of Belding passed away Thursday Morning June 7, 2007 at Metron of Belding Nursing Home. She was born January 8, 1920 in Belding the daughter of George and Nellie Forman Phillips. Barbara graduated from Belding High School with the class of 1938. She worked for 20 years at Belding Savings and Loan. She was a past member of First Baptist Church in Belding and Shiloh Community Church. Barbara was married on June 24, 1939 in Belding to Arthur C. Trebian and he preceded her on Jan. 20, 1978. Barbara was also preceded by her parents and one son, Gary Trebian. Despite the effects of Alzheimer's Barbara will always be remembered for her bright and cheerful smile. Barbara is survived by her children, Bruce and Carolyn Trebian of Orleans, Gene and Cecelia Trebian of Orleans and daughter in law, Celina Trebian of Mecosta. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, several great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Shiloh Community Church with Pastor Ken Harger officiating. Interment will follow in Orleans Township Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Shiloh Community Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Shiloh Community Church or the Alvah N. Belding Library.
