Bruce A. Trebian, 72, of Orleans, passed away Sunday evening, March 23, 2014, 
at home under the loving care of his family and Spectrum Hospice.  Bruce was 
born on Dec. 5, 1941, in Belding, the son of Arthur C. and Barbara M. 
(Phillips) Trebian.

He graduated from Belding High School with the Class of 1960 and then proudly 
served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1961 to 1965.  He was a life member of 
the Sheridan VFW Post No. 5065, and thoroughly enjoyed his work as a deputy 
with the Montcalm County Sheriff's Office, serving from 1980 to 2002.

Bruce is loved and survived by his wife, Carolyn Trebian of Orleans; their 
children, Renee (Mark) Bellinger of Sheridan, Brent Trebian and Molly (James) 
Hodson, all of Belding; grandchildren, Nick, Blake, Derrek, Brennon, Jamie and 
Kasey, great-grandsons, TJ and Gauge; his brother and sister-in-law, Gene (Sis) 
Trebian of Orleans; and his special dog, "Boogie."

Bruce was preceded by his parents, one brother and sister-in-law, Gary (Celina) 
Trebian.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, March 28, 2014, at Shiloh Community 
Church, with Pastor Ken Harger officiating.  Visitation will be from 2-4 and 
6-8 p.m. Thursday at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home in Belding, and one hour 
before the service Friday at the church.  Interment will be later in the spring 
at Orleans Township Cemetery, Orleans.  Memorials may be given to the William 
McCarthy Scholarship Fund at the Montcalm County Sheriff's Office or the 
Scholarship Fund with the Sheridan VFW Post No. 5065.  Envelopes will be 
available at the funeral home and at the church.
