The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Wednesday, September 16, 1931

Funeral services for Frank Treester, 52, of Pewamo, who died Thursday night 
after an illness of 10 months of uremic poisoning, were conducted at 9 o’clock 
Tuesday morning at St. Joseph’s church, Pewamo.  Interment was in Fowler 
cemetery.

Mr. Treester was a native of Gratiot county.  January 13, 1903 he was united 
in marriage to Miss Ann Smith, of Fowler,  the widow and a daughter, Mrs. 
Irene Hamblin, and a half-brother, Fred Rowell, of Fowler, survive.
