Avery Piper Trefry died at Oakland, California, April 2, 1908, aged 69 years, 11 
months and 13 days.  Deceased was a brother of G.H. Trefry of this village and 
was in partnership with him in the mercantile business, in what is known at the 
Barnard building, from 1866 to 1870.
