Ionia Standard - Friday, April 12, 1895

Ebenezer Tremayne died at his home here, at 10 o'clock Monday evening, of heart 
disease. He was born in Whitstable, county of Kent, England, in Feb. 1831. When 
he was about six months old, his father came to New York, where he was ordained 
deacon in the Protestant-Episcopal church, and a year later was ordained 
priest. Two brothers, Rev. Francis Tremayne, rector of Christ church, Mimico, 
near Toronto, Canada, and Dr. Henry Tremayne, of Ionia, Mich., have come to 
attend the funeral. - (Rutland, Vt., Herald.
