Hastings Reminder, 11 May 1993

Arthur E. Trescott, 92, of Lake Odessa, passed away Friday, May 7, 1993 at 
Thornapple Manor, Hastings.  He was born on December 26, 1900 in Harbor Beach, 
Michigan, the son of Alex and Margaret (Barss) Trescott.  He attended Lansing 
Public Schools and was employed by Oldsmobile and Diamond Reo in Lansing for 
several years.  He served in the Calvary during World War I.  He was married to 
Pearl May Smith who preceded him in death on December 26, 1978.

Mr. Trescott is survived by one step-daughter, Mrs. Forrest (Verna) Mitchell of 
Lake Odessa; five step-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by five 
brothers, Alva, Robert, George, Lloyd and William and one sister, Ella.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 11, at 1:00 p.m. at the Koops 
Funeral Chapel, Lake Odessa.  Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery.
