HERBERT TREUSDELL, 85
Herbert Treusdell, 85, passed away at home peacefully with his family by his 
side in Titusville, Florida on February 7, 2019.

He was comforted by the continued blessing of a gracious and loving Heavenly 
Father, who provided for him all of his life and now on his journey home. 

Herbert was born and raised on the family farm in rural Ionia County and 
attended Hayes and Palo schools, and then graduated from Ionia High school 
Herbert's life always had a little adventure to it, whether scaling mountains 
in Colorado while in the U.S. Army Mountain Division owner-operator of a long 
haul semi, milking cows on his farm with his wife and children, working many 
happy years at Williams Bros. Highway Construction, or retiring as a Barber 
at his Country Barber Shop in Fowler.

He enjoyed with his wife Rosa Ann, traveling in Europe on numerous occasions 
and visiting with his son and family there, wintering at home in Florida, and 
spending time with his sons and families in Texas.

Herbert leaves behind his wife Rose Ann of 59 years of marriage, sons Brian 
(wife and daughter) of Boerne, Texas and Todd (wife and children) of 
Cambridge, England; granddaughters Kelsey (Justin) Pelham and a great-
granddaughter, and Laney Treusdell, all of Texas; and sisters, Barbara 
(Lawrence) Chipman and Camilla Hogan, both of Michigan.

He was predeceased by his much loved son Jeff in 2018.

As per Herbert's request, there was no formal public service.
