Jan. 15, 2010 Cheryl A. Tribble, of Fenwick, passed away on Jan. 9 at Spectrum United Memorial in Greenville at the age of 48 after a long courageous battle with cancer. She was born Feb. 7, 1961 in Ionia to Lawrence “Bud” and Beverly Clark. She married Paul Tribble Oct. 30, 1987. She graduated from Montcalm Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Accounting and worked at Farm Bureau in Ionia and Foremost Insurance Company of Grand Rapids, where she made many wonderful friends. Cheryl was a dog lover and raised, trained and showed Rottweilers and German Shepherds. Her dogs held a special place in her life. Cheryl also really enjoyed her time spent playing Bingo and enjoyed spending time with her Bingo friends. Cheryl is survived by her husband of 22 years, Paul Tribble of Fenwick; daughters Joleane Tribble of Ionia and Loretta (Reed) Topasna of Guam; 4 grandchildren; sisters, Sandie Moore, Paula Clark and Lori (Ken) Gustafson; many nieces and nephews; good friends Janet Lange, Laurie Bowerman, Sandi Pierce, Chris Briggs, Mary Worthington, Jan Babcock (Ie, Witchy Poo) and many other good friends. She is also survived by her other kids (dogs) Hawk, Molly, Stihl, Fire and Rain. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence “Bud” and Beverly (Welch) Clark, and nephew James Lee Oyler. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service to celebrate Cheryl’s life and birthday will take place at the K of C Hall on Steele Street in Ionia on Feb.6 from 1-4 p.m. Donations can be made to the family.
