John Trierweiler, 82, father of Peter Trierweiler, postmaster of Portland, 
died at his son’s home at Portland Sunday.  Funeral services are to be 
conducted Thursday morning at 9 a.m. from the St. Patrick’s church at Portland 
with interment in Portland cemetery.  Mr. Trierweiler had been a resident of 
Portland for 51 years.  He was a native of Germany and had lived in the United 
States since infancy.
