Trierweiler, U.S. Marine, Operating Engineer and Cancer Hero, passed away at home in Saranac at age 59. He was born June 22, 1948 in Lansing the son of Raymond and Nina (Kornechuk) Trierweiler. He served in the Marine Corp during Vietnam. He was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church, IUOE local 324 for over 38 years and Saranac American Legion. He was employed by Contract Dewatering of Saranac. Michael is survived by his loving mother Nina Trierweiler of Saranac; brothers, Alan Trierweiler of Saranac, Mark Trierweiler of Saranac, John (Becky) Trierweiler of Saranac and Jeff Trierweiler of Saranac; sisters, Diana (Gary) Bergeron of Florida and Mary (Michael) Lamphere of Saranac and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Raymond; brothers, Steve, David and Roger; sister, Gloria; niece, Lauren; nephews, Matthan Lamphere and Shane Trierweiler and soul mate, Judi Pancoast. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday, 11 a.m. at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Saranac with Father Peter Schafer celebrant. Rosary will be at 10:30 a.m. prior to funeral mass on Tuesday. Interment Saranac Cemetery. Arrangements by Lake Funeral Home in Saranac.
