He was born on August 4, 1932 in Portland, the son of Peter and Gertrude (Feldpausch) Trierweiler. Ron was a member of St.Mary's Catholic Church and a proud veteran of the U.S. Army. He served as a greenskeeper for both Portland Country Club and Huckleberry Creek Golf Course for more than 63 years. He and his wife, Mary enjoyed traveling and playing cards. He served as secretary of the Portland Bowling Association for many years and was a member of the Herm Huhn Hall of fame. Ron was especially proud of picking up a 7/10 split and being the Left handed Club Champion in 1965 at the Portland Country Club. Ron was extremely proud of his children, grandchildren and his great- grandchildren (his little buddies and tootsies). Surviving are his beloved wife of 61 years, Mary; children, Doug Trierweiler, Sheila (Chris) Paseka, and Sheri (Pete) Platte; 9 grandchildren; 6 great- grandchildren with one one the way; siblings: Ann Waldron & Diana (Harv) Burgoyne; in-laws, Alvin Schneider, Harold (Mary) Lou) Schmitt, Anna Feldpausch, Martha (Ted) Williams, and Prima Trierweiler; many nieces & nephews & special niece, Claire Trierweiler. He is preceded in death by his parent; brothers, Thomas (Kathy) Trierweiler and Harold (Vickie) Trierweiler & sister, Donna (Orville) Martin; in-laws, Dorothy Schneider, John (Mary) Schmitt, Hilary Feldpausch & Jerome Fox. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Peter Lawrence at 10:30 a.m.,Monday, October 4, 2021 at St.Mary's Catholic Church, Westphalia. Rite of Committal will be at St.Mary's Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2-8 PM with a rosary being prayed at 1:30 PM at the St.Mary's Funeral Chapel, 210 Westphalia Street, Westphalia.
