Excerpts from Portland Online Obituary

PATRICK ANTHONY TRIERWEILER

Died July 24, 2022-age 91 of Portland
Born March 14, 1931 son of Victor and Mathilda (Feldpausch) Trierweiler.
Pat played AAA baseball for the New York Yankees and was later inducted into the 
Portland High School Hall of Fame.
Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp serving during the Korean War.
Retired from Fisher Body after many years of service.
Pat took great joy in traveling, especially when the adventure took him up North 
with family.
Pat welcomed visitors to his home to watch his beloved Detroit Tigers & to chat.
Preceded in death by his parent, wife Patty, grandson, Hartlee Lucas; siblings, 
Eileen Burgoyne, Mary Ann Trierweiler, Rosalyn (Thomas) Bengel,& Ken 
Trierweiler; and in-laws, Jean Trierweiler, Dale Stiffler, & Barry Sillman. 
Surviving are his children, Tony (Karen) Trierweiler, Pam (Ernie) Luna, Mike 
Trierweiler, Rick (Deb) Trierweiler, and Chris (Jamie) Trierweiler,
Grandchildren;Patrick (Alcha) Trierweiler III, Brandon (Michelle) Trierweiler, 
Kasey (Eric) Roth, Tyler Trierweiler, Kenzie Trierweiler, Nic (Sarah Potts) 
Luna, Craig (Lindsay) Luna, Jennifer (Chris) Vallier, Rick (LeAnn) 
Trierweiler,Holly Trierweiler, Trevor Trierweiler, Taylor Trierweiler, and 
Trenton Trierweiler;
17 great grandchildren; Siblings, Gladys Stiffler, Kay Sillman, Roger (Sandy) 
Trierweiler, Charlie Trierweiler, & Vic (Donna) Trierweiler; brother-in-law, 
Harv (Diana) Burgoyne; and many nieces & nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr.Mike Alber at 11 a. Friday, 
July 29, at St.Patrick Catholic Church, Portland
Rite of Committal will follow at Portland Cemetery.
Family will receive friend on Thursday evening from 6-8 pm at the Lehman Funeral 
Home Bridge, Street, Portland.
Contribution may be made to Ionia/Lansing Area Hospice in memory of Pat.
