Trierweiler, 96, of Portland passed away March 28, 2005. He was born in Portland Sept. 20, 1908 the son of Joseph and Pauline (Platte) Trierweiler. Mr. Trierweiler was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Portland, and was a former member of the church choir. Frederick was also a member of the Portland Knights of Columbus Council #2168, and was a retired farmer. He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Theodora (Klein) Trierweiler; son-in-law, Bill Sines; great-grandson, Steven Hunt III; three sisters; five brothers. Surviving are his children, Judy (Don) Sorenson of Greenville, Dan Trierweiler of Rockford, Barbara Sines of Portland, Carolyn (Bill) Bengel of Mecosta, Bonnie (Rick) Schmitt of Lansing, Marlene Green of Manchester and Janice (Daniel) Beech of Portland; brother, Gerald Trierweiler of Livonia; 20 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; wife, Myrtie Trierweiler of Grand Ledge. The Mass of Christian Burial was held March 31 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Portland, with the Rev. Larry King, Pastor, presiding. Rite of Committal followed at Portland Cemetery. Arrangements were handled by the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, Portland.
