She was born May 7, 1921, in Lansing the daughter of Charles and Mary Kornechuk. Nina married Ray Trierweiler on Dec. 4, 1941, he passed away in 1999. She was a founding member at St. Anthony’s Church and Alter Society. Nina was very talented artist and loved doing crafts. Nina is survived by her children, Diana (Gary) Begeron of Grand Rapids, Alan Trierweiler of Lake Odessa, Mary (Mike) Lamphere of Saranac, Mark Trierweiler of Lowell, John (Becky) Trierweiler of Saranac, and Jeff Trierweiler of Saranac; sister, Tanya Danby of Lansing; 27 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ray; children, David, Steven, Roger, Gloria and Mike; grandchildren, Shane Trierweiler, Lauren Trierweiler and Matthan Lamphere; great-grandchildren, Roan Lamphere and Gabriel Trierweiler; two brother and three sisters. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, Oct. 9, 11 a.m. at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church with Monsignor Ed Hankiewicz celebrant. Rite of Committal at Saranac Cemetery. Visitation on Thursday at Lake Funeral Home in Saranac from 4-7 p.m. with a Rosary at 7 p.m. Those wishing may make contributions in Nina’s name to St. Anthony’s Catholic Church or Alzheimer’s Foundation.
