Trierweiler, of Pewamo, age 89 passed away on Thursday, Dec. 13, 2007. She was born on Oct. 4, 1918 in Eagle Township the daughter of Pearly and Alice (Baker) Dutcher. Margaret was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Portland and the VFW Post #4090 Ladies Auxiliary. She retired in 1975 from Chrysler Corp in Lyons, enjoyed modified automobile racing with her husband, Claire and had a great love for dogs. For years she hosted the Maple Corners "gabfest". She was known for her Sunday breakfasts and her hot strong coffee. Margaret was preceded in death by her brothers Guy, Raymond, Donald and Gerald Dutcher; sisters Reha Wells and Letty Dutcher and husband Claire in 1989. Surviving are a sister, Betty Wilson; several special friends Jim and Ann Stump, Tom and Diane Allen, Judy Crites, Leon Platte and Doug and Brenda Smith and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 22, 2007 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Rev. Larry King presiding. Rite of Committal will be in Portland Cemetery. The family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Sunday at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 210 E. Bridge St., Portland. A rosary will be prayed at 8 p.m., Sunday.
