E. Trimble, prominent business man at Belding died at his home in Belding early Thursday morning after an illness of heart trouble for several days. He had been able to be at work at his bakery up until the past week when he was taken with an attack of heart trouble. He was born in Benton Harbor, December 12, 1868, and when he was a small boy moved to Fremont with his parents. In his early manhood he was a cabinet maker but abandoned it many years ago and started a bakery business. Before going to Belding he owned a bakery in Traverse City for a number of years and spent a year in Grand Rapids. He came to Belding in 1911 and in 1914 he started the Trimble bakery which he has continued to run ever since. He was a member of the Scottish Rites Consistory of Grand Rapids, of the White Shrine of Ionia, and a member of the F. and A. M. and Royal Arch Masons of Belding. Surviving are an invalid widow, two sons, George, of Traverse City and John, of Avalon, Penn., and one daughter, Mrs. Minnie Little of Fennville. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday afternoon at 2:30 from the Fitzjohns Funeral home under the auspices of the Belding Masonic lodge. Interment will be at the River Ridge cemetery.
