Belding Banner, 25 Oct 1922

John M. Trimble was born in Pennsylvania, January 21, 1836 and died October 18, 
1922, after an illness of three weeks; aged 86 years, 8 months and 26 days.  He 
was united in marriage to Mary Kennedy, March 18, 1873.  He lived in Belding 
for the past twenty-eight years.  He leaves, besides his wife, one son, two 
daughters and two grand daughters, all of whom were present at his bedside.  
The funeral was held at the home, Friday afternoon at three o’clock, the Rev. 
George A. Osborne officiating.  Miss Lila Mosher and Mrs. Berry sand “Light at 
Eveningtime”, and Now the Day is Over”.  He was laid to rest in River Ridge 
cemetery.

We wish to thank our many friends for the cars used, and for the many acts of 
kindness to us in the sickness and death of our loved one.  Mrs. Mary Trimble, 
Mr. and Mrs. William Trimble and daughter, Mrs. and Mrs. George Haysmer and 
daughter, Miss Ella Trimble.
