Funeral services were held Friday, Rev. D.E. Millard officiating and burial was in Danby cemetery. William Triphagen, for years a Pewamo business man, is the only surviving son. For his third wife Mr. Triphagen married Mrs. Eliza Byron of Portland, who survives him. The deceased was 92 years of age and came to Michigan from New York in 1855. A one time he owned a farm south west of Pewamo and ran a blacksmith shop in connection with it, going from there to Portland and later to Mulliken.
