Shopper's Guide -

Magdalene A. Strong, age 86, passed on Wednesday, October 22, 2008. Surviving 
are her children; Judy Pung of Eagle, Barbara Jean Struble of Anchorage, 
Alaska, Stephen (Jacky) Strong of Dayton, Ohio, Gloria Hensley of Portland, 
Donna (Gary) Paquin of Burnips, Michigan, Agnes Krancich of Portland, Nancy 
Strong (Thomas Vemich) of Kalamazoo, Jim Strong of Lansing, Mary (Jim) Lyon of 
Eagle; 21 Grandchildren; 27 Great Grandchildren; 1 Great Great Grandson on the 
way; sisters: Dorothy Wakley of Perry and Rosemary Pung of Eagle; sister-in-
law, Mary Pohl of DeWitt and Brother-in-law, Roman Feldpaususch of Florida. The 
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 27, 
at St. Patrick Catholic Church with Rev. Larry King, presiding. Rite of 
Committal will follow at Portland Cemetery. The family will receive friends 2 
p.m. – 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. – 9 p.m., Sunday at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 
Portland. The rosaries will be prayed at 3 and 8 p.m., Sunday.
