The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Saturday, March 28, 1931

Mrs. Bertha Trowbridge, about 66 years of age, living at 538 Bayard street, 
died in the University of Michigan hospital Saturday morning.  She had been 
there since Tuesday for observation and her death was very unexpected at this 
time.  The body was brought to the Boynton funeral chapel Saturday afternoon, 
but the funeral arrangements have not been made.  Her husband, Louis 
Trowbridge, survives.

She had lived in Ionia for 20 years.  She was a member of the Church of Christ 
and exemplified her Christian faith in her many deeds of charity.

Subsequent Publication:  Monday, March 30, 1931

Funeral services for Mrs. Bertha Trowbridge, who died in Ann Arbor Saturday, 
will be held from the home Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock.  Interment will be 
in Highland Park cemetery.
