The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Wednesday, October 17, 1956


Delos R. Trowbridge, 74, local businessman died Tuesday noon at Pennock 
hospital in Hastings where he had been a patient since Sunday evening.

He was born May 10, 1882 in Vestaburg and was the son of Jerome and Lillian 
Trowbridge.  He had been a resident here most of his life and had been in 
business for more than 40 years as a photographer and at the time of his death 
he operated a news stand.

Surviving are his wife, Lillie; one sister, Mrs. George Reed of Grand Rapids 
and two brothers, Charles and Allen, both of Lansing.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 1:30 at the Pickens funeral chapel 
and burial will be in Lakeside cemetery.
