Former Resident Dies in Ionia

Mrs. Lillie Trowbridge, 84, resident of Lake Odessa many years, passed away
Tuesday morning at the Ionia Manor.  She was born in Elmira, N.Y., Aug. 3, 1887,
the daughter of Luther and Amanda (Rutan) Warner.  She and her husband Delos
owned and operated a newsstand and photography shop here for many years before
his death about 16 years ago.  Mrs. Trowbridge had been in Ionia rest homes most
of the time since his death.

No immediate survivors, only a niece and nephew.

Funeral services were held Thursday (today) at 1:30 at the Pickens Funeral
Chapel.  Rev. Charles Dunbar officiated, with burial in Lakeside Cemetery.
