Ionia Sentinel Standard, 11 Jun 2015

William Riley Trueblood, age 66 of Ionia, passed away June 9, 2015.  He was born
Dec. 29, 1948, in Ionia the son of James and Edith (Colley) Trueblood.  

William was a Navy Veteran serving in the Vietnam War.  He married Nancy
Bierlein on Oct. 20, 2010, at North Plains Church.  William worked as a
corrections officer until retiring in 2010.  He loved restoring cars, restoring
and flying airplanes with his dad and brother, race cars, woodworking, and
welding.  He was a life member of the Sheridan VFW.

William is survived by his wife, Nancy Bierlein of Ionia; son, Billy Trueblood
(Crystal Plaster) of Ionia; father, James Trueblood of Ionia; grandchild,
Madison Trueblood; brother, James Robert (Susie) Trueblood of Coloma; mother of
his son, Patricia Trueblood of Ionia; friend, Corey Plaster and Amos the dog. 
He was preceded in death by his mother, Edith Trueblood.

Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 13, 11 a.m. at Lake Funeral Home in
Ionia with Pastor Greg Gladding officiating.
