The funeral took place at North Plains church on Sunday afternoon, services conducted by Elder Fisher of Palo, interment in North Plains cemetery. Mr. Truesdall was for many years a thriving farmer of North Plains. His wife died four or five years ago, and later he married a woman in Pennsylvania, and went to that state to live. Report is current and seems well founded, that he committed suicide by shooting through the head, but the causes leading up to the rash act do not appear. He leaves several children, resident in this vicinity.
