RUTH I. TRUETT
PORTLAND - Ruth I. Truett, 82, of 429 Divine Highway, Portland, died Monday at
Lansing Hospital.

She was born December 7, 1902, in Portland, the daughter of Emery and Mae Carpenter
Swank.

She is survived by her husband Andrew; two daughters, Mrs .Charles (Lois) Koelzer of
Portland and Ardis Bowerman of Portland; five grandchildren and ten
great-grandchildren; and one brother, Otto Swank of Hemet, Calif.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at the Neller funeral home in
Portland with the Rev. Ronald Sparks officiating.

Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
