She was born August 21, 1929 in Ionia, the daughter of Kenneth and Beatrice (Boomer) Stout. Beatrice enjoyed singing and playing music, she went to Interlochen School of Music where she played the saxophone. She also sang in a family trio and the Sweet Adelines in Lansing for several years. Surviving are one son Dale (Sara) Truman of Morley, four grandchildren, one great-grandson and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Bob Truman and her second husband Bud Fountain and two sons Mike and Jon. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday at 4 p.m. at the Heckman Funeral Home with Pastor Alsen Wenzel officiating and burial in the West Pine Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and prior to services on Wednesday.
