Lake Odessa Wave - October 26, 1967
          SERVICES HELD FOR MILAN E. TRUMBO
   Milan E. Trumbo, 97, former Woodland resident and retired farmer passed away last
Thursday morning at 
the Mercy hospital, Benton Harbor.  He had been hospitalized four days.
   A native of Ohio, he resided in the Woodland area since a young man and left for
Stenvensville, seven years 
ago to live with his daughter, Mrs. Gertrude Plants.
   He was the son of Pliny and Lydia Trumbo and he married Fern Senter of Woodland
in 1902  She passed 
away in April 1958.  Mr. Trumbo was a member of the Woodland Methodist Church.
  Surviving beside the daughter are two grand daughters and seven great grand
children.
   Funeral services were held Saturday at 1:30 at the Pickens Funeral Chapel.  Rev.
Marvin Zimmerman and 
Rev. Thomas Churn of Woodland officiated with burial in Lakeside cemetery.
