Ionia Sentinel Standard, 2002

Raymond L. Trumbull, 94, of Anderson, S.C., formerly of Saranac, passed away 
Friday, Jan. 3, 2002, in South Carolina.  He was born April 4, 1908 in Ionia, 
the son of Walter G. and Alice M. Trumbull.  He would go on to marry Elizabeth 
August 7, 1939.  She preceded him in death.

He is survived by his sons; Larry Trumbull of South Carolina, Steve and Cindy 
Trumbull of South Carolina, and Terry and Nancy Trumbull of Battle Creek; five 
grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren; one sister, Dorotha Wilbur.  
He was preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth; three brothers, George, Keith, 
and Bob; two sisters, Grave and Vesta.

Funeral services for Mr. Trumbull will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Lake 
Funeral Home in Saranac.  Interment Saranac Cemetery.  Visitation is 2 p.m. to 
4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
