Lake Odessa Wave - August 27, 1970
          SERVICES HELD FOR ALICE TRUMPOWER
   Mrs. Alice tTumpower, 86, passed away late Wednesday afternoon at Grand Traverse
Medical Care Facility 
at Traverse City.  She had been a patient there about a year.
   She was born in  Genessee county, January 30, 1884, daughter of Charles and
Lottie (Waite) Evans and 
came to Lake Odessa from Clinton 45 years ago.
   She married Peter Trumpower 32 years ago and he passed away in 1956.
   Surviving are two sons, Henry Prentiss of Harrison and Lynn Prentiss of
Interlochen; two daughters, Mrs. 
Cletis (Beatrice) Holsington of Juliette, Idaho and Mrs. Ewell (Wilma) Clarke of
North Hollywood, Calif.; 18 
grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; one sister Mrs. Jessie Doane of Grand Ledge;
three step-daughters, 
Mrs. Hazel Tucker of Belding, Mrs. Albert (Vada) Darling and Mrs. James (Nellie)
Landon, both of Portland, 
and a stepson, Ray Trumpower of Lake Odessa.
   Funeral services were held on Saturday afternoon at 3:30 at Pickens Funeral
Chapel. Re. Marvin Zimmerman 
officiated with burial in Lakeside cemetery.
