PETER TRUMPOWER DIED SATURDAY

Peter A. Trumpower, 80, retired barber passed away, Saturday about 4 p.m. at 
Pennock Hospital, where he had been a patient since Wednesday night. 

He came from Pompey Hill, New.York in 1923 and operated a barbershop for 31 
years retiring 3 years ago.

Surviving are his wife Alice, whom he married 18 years ago; three daughters, 
Mrs.Hazel Tucker of Belding; Mrs.Albert (Vada) Darling and Mrs.James (Nellie) 
Landon both of Portland; two sons Ray and Joseph both of Lake Odessa; one sister 
Mrs Maggie Gray of Lansing; one brother William of Alberta, Canada; four step 
children, Henry Prentiss of Lake George, Lynn Prentiss, Lake Odessa, Mrs.Wilma 
Vogt of Bakerfield, California and Mrs.Beatrice Hoisington Of Juliaetta, Idaho; 
9 grandchildren and one great-grand daughter.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Pickens Funeral Chapel. Rev. A.J 
Pitman officiated. 

Interment in Lakeside Cemetery.
