The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Saturday, February 7, 1920


The remains of Mrs. J. H. Tubbs arrived here last night from Kansas City where 
she died, being accompanied by her son-in-law, E. S. Ellis at whose home there 
her death occurred.  Acute appendicitis was given as the cause of death.  The 
body was taken directly to Oak Hill cemetery for interment in the family lot.  
The bearers were A. L. Tuttle, T. R. Buck, Fred Covert and G. W. Wilson.
