Ionia Sentinel Standard – 5 June 1956
Mrs. Hester E. Tucker, 75 died Monday June 4 at her home in Saranac.  She was 
born October 9, 1880 in Campbell Township, Ionia County, the daughter of 
Samuel and Julie (Shindle) Jackson.  Surviving are her husband, Nuwell Tucker 
of Saranac, one daughter, Mrs. Ruth Kietzma of South Boston, four 
grandchildren; one great grandchild; one brother, Bert Jackson and two 
sisters, Mrs. Marion Mutschler and Mrs. Ray Stahl of Clarksville and one 
sister, Mrs. Leo Roush of Lake Odessa.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2:30 at the Morris funeral 
home with the Rev. Burton Micks officiating.

Interment will be in South Boston cemetery.
