The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Thursday, July 26, 1928
Herbert Tucker, son of the late George Tucker, a real pioneer of Boston 
township, died at his home in Leonidas this week, and the funeral services 
were held in Leonidas Thursday, and burial took place there.  Mr. Tucker had 
lived in Leonidas 30 years, going from Ionia county to that vicinity.  He had 
been subject to heart disease and it is thought that the drowning of his only 
son Earl Tucker four weeks ago hastened his death.  He leaves a daughter, Mrs. 
Bernice Tutwiler, of Leonidas.
