Edith E. Tucker, 67, Greenville, died Sunday, July 28, 1996 at Belding 
Christian Nursing Home.  She was born October 15, 1928 in Ionia, the daughter 
of Ira N. and Matilda Hissong Shilton.

She was married to Harry G. Tucker, who survives.  Also surviving are two sons, 
David H. Tucker of Greenville, Daniel Tucker of Barryton; four granddaughters, 
Kelly Tucker, Summer Tucker, Nicole Tucker and Sarah Flynn; four brothers, 
Howard Shilton of Saranac, Carl Shilton of Marion, Ken Shilton of Vermontville, 
Royal Lee Shilton of Lake Odessa; and two sisters, Bertha Smith of Sunfield, 
and Pauline Manning of Cadillac.  She was preceded in death by one sister, 
Margaret.

Graveside services and burial will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Easton Cemetery, 
Ionia County, with the Rev. James foster officiating.  There will be no funeral 
home visitation.  Arrangements are being handled by the Hurst Funeral Home, 
Greenville.
