Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Thursday, April 28, 1977

SHERIDAN- Mrs. Nellie E. Tucker, 75, of 135 Fargo, Sheridan, died Tuesday 
evening at Sheridan Community hospital.

She was born October 27, 1901, in Hart, and was a retired employee of the Ionia 
State hospital.

A former resident of Ionia, she moved to Sheridan in 1955 where she was a 
member of the Sheridan VFW auxiliary.

She married Milo Tucker in 1935. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include five sisters, Mrs. Fay Stadley of Sheridan, Mrs. Alice Fuller 
of Mears, Mrs. Ora Emmons of Carson City, Mrs. Alta McKay of Milwaukee, and 
Mrs. Julia Ralston of Mansfield, Ohio, and one sister-in-law, Mrs. Vivian Makin 
of Whitehall.

Services were Friday at 1:30 pm from the Stebbins-Simpson funeral home in 
Sheridan with Rev. Gerald Bowen officiating.

Burial is in Evergreen cemetery.

The family will receive friends and relatives at the funeral home Thursday 2 to 
4 and 7 to 8:30 pm.

A memorial fund is established for the Sheridan Congregational church.
