George E. Tucker, Retired S. Boston Farmer, Passes

George E. Tucker, 85, former South Boston farmer, passed way Wednesday, December
21 at his home here on Foreman Drive after a lingering illness.  Funeral
services were conducted by the Rev. Gerard Knol at the Roth Funeral Home on
Friday at 2 p.m.  Interment at South Boston Cemetery.  Mr. Tucker was born
January 20, 1875, in Boston Township and April 23, 1902 was married to Mary
Rollins and they resided on a farm in Boston Township until 9 years ago.  He was
a member of the Methodist church and Grange in South Boston for many years.  He
is survived by his wife, Mary, a daughter, Mrs. Gordon Johnson; two sons,
Francis W. of Grand Rapids, Maynard E. of Hastings; 7 grandchildren; 15
great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
