Obituary

Samuel Eddison Tucker 72, of Campbell township, Clarksville, son of Samuel and
Abigail Tucker passed away September 28, 1955 at Pennock hospital after an
illness of more than a year.  

He was born July 25, 1883 in Boston township where he resided the forepart of
his life, uniting in marriage to Rosa Roth on April 13, 1906, who passed away
November 25, 1954.  To his union were born four children, Clarence of Grand
Rapids, Bernice Miller and Catherine Warner both of Clarksville and a son
Clayton who preceeded them in death.  Also surviving are three brothers, George,
John and Newell and one sister Lucinda; eleven grandchildren and ten
great-grandchildren. 

Funeral services were held at the Clarksville Bible Church at 2 p.m. Saturday,
October 1.  Rev. Paul Boger officiated with burial in South Boston cemetery. 
Pallbearers were Edwin Nash, Bert Hanson, Charles Walters, Lester Stuart, Merl
Rufner and Henry Tapley.
