Tuller, age 85, passed peacefully from death to eternal life on Wednesday, June 18, 2014. Dan was born in Ionia, Michigan, on May 16, 1929, the son of Daniel and Elizabeth Tuller. He grew up in Ionia and graduated from Ionia High School in 1946. He married the love of his life, Audrey Chapin on July 3, 1947, and together they raised a family at their Hillcrest Drive address, close to Dan's childhood home. Sons Chris, Mark and daughter Danna were his delight, and he never missed sporting events, band concerts, or any activity involving his children. A master plumber by trade, he owned and operated a plumbing and heating business in Saranac, Michigan, for many years, eventually retiring from Fisher Body. Serving his Lord and Savior was his passion, and he touched so many lives as he served as Sunday school teacher, song leader and Deacon at Temple Baptist Church, and later as a member of Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church and then Alabaster Bible Church in Tawas City, where he lived at the time of his passing. Dan is survived by his wife Audrey, sons Chris (Judy) Tuller of Mt. Pleasant, Mark (Roxanne) Tuller of Kingsley, daughter Danna (Jerry) White of Tawas City, as well as grandchildren Jeremy Tuller, Lacie (Shane) Kelly, Luke and Jeb White, five great grandchildren, Avery, Quinn and Cameron Tuller, and Kaden and Tessa Kelly. Also surviving are a sister Pauline Williams, brother Stanley (Donna) Tuller, brother in law Kenneth Harley, brother and sister in laws, Douglas (Nancy) Chapin and Arnold (Pat) Chapin, and sisters in law, Arvell Dibble and Josie Chapin. Dan was preceded in death by his father and stepmother Daniel and Nola Tuller, mother and stepfather Elizabeth and Ralph Davis, and sister Virginia Harley. A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 27, 2014, at the Alabaster Bible Church in Tawas at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Andrew Price officiating. On Saturday, June 28, a graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. at the Sunset Memorial Gardens in Ionia, Michigan. A luncheon to celebrate Dan's life will be held immediately after at Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church fellowship hall, Ionia, Michigan.
